The primary duty of the Maintenance Supervisor is to ensure efficient and effective department operations as well as ensure the highest physical quality of the property. The Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate work schedules and monitor daily staff performance; maintain oversight of expense controls and risk management; and manage repairs as well as preventative maintenance in vacant apartments, resident apartments and common areas. The Maintenance Supervisor ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations as well as all established policies. HVAC experience, EPA Certification and Valid Driver's License required.
- Minimum high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Minimum of three years of experience in various trades including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, appliances and electrical maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of safety, fire prevention and first aid techniques.
- Measurement and mathematical calculation ability.
- Ability to work in a variety of conditions and locations including confined areas, rooftops, underground spaces, etc.
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Valid Florida Driver's License.
- HVAC experience.
- EPA certification.
