Zephyrus Restaurant - 1099 McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, FL

The Zephyrus Restaurant is located inside Hampton Apartments and open to the public seven days a week.

Dining Room Manager

The Dining Room Manager supervises all operations of the dining room and serving staff; ensures guests receive friendly, professional service and excellent food and beverage quality in a clean and inviting environment; monitors compliance with health and safety standards in addition to Department of Health regulations; and reconciles daily receipts and creates billing records. The work is performed in an indoor environment and requires frequent movement and carrying of objects. The work is performed under the overall direction of the Property Manager.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position located in Clearwater, Florida. This is a forty-hour a week position with eight hour work shifts between 9am and 6:30pm. Sundays and occasional holidays are required.

Required Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Current State of Florida Food Manager’s Certification.
  • Two to three years of experience in food service management.
  • Budgeting and billing experience.
  • Computer proficiency in Windows operating system and MS Office software including Word and Excel. Able to operate Internet applications and email as well as external vendors’ and proprietary software programs such as Volante (point of service software).
  • Possession of valid Florida Driver’s License.
Necessary Skills and Abilities:

  • Customer service principles.
  • Food service principles and practices.
  • State Department of Health regulations.
  • Leadership principles, effective supervisory skills and applicable employment law/regulations
  • Operate motor vehicle in order to visit Agency sites and properties.
